Xovoltib 40 mg is intended for the treatment of certain kinds of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Afatinib belongs to the group of drugs called kinase inhibitors. It acts by preventing the replication of cancer cells.
How to use this drug?

Xovoltib 40 mg comes in the form of pill for oral intake. It should be taken on an empty stomach once a day, about one hour before or two hours after a meal. Disorders of taste and smell may occur. If your favorite meals have different taste, refuse from them not to develop a disgust for them. Choose meals that don’t have a sharp smell. Cold dishes may digest better. Try different dressings. Leave the kitchen if cooking smells makes you queasy.
