In addition, this model is iRobot OS compatible, meaning it receives updates to its software from the cloud as soon as they're available. The app also gives you the option of sending specific images of any obstacles it encounters to the servers of iRobot, which helps it improve its algorithms. iRobot claims that it only utilizes images of those who have opted for this training with a user and don't use them for any other purpose.
