you suffer from leukopenia
you have liver dysfunction
Be careful while using Docetaxel 80 mg
Before every use of Docetaxel 80 mg, you’ll have to take blood tests to make sure that you have a sufficient number of blood cells and a normal liver function to receive the medication. In case of white blood cell disorders, you may be vulnerable to various infections.
During the treatment, you’ll have to take oral corticosteroids (for example, dexamethasone) one day before the use of Docetaxel 80 mg. Keep taking them for a few days after it to reduce the possibility of certain adverse effects, which can be caused by the infusion (such as allergy or liquid retention).
During the therapy, you may be prescribed other drugs to avoid anemia.
