Nab-Paclitaxel 100mg

DESCRIPTION OF THE REMEDY.

Nab-paclitaxel 100 is an herbal remedy for the treatment of tumors. It is used to improve the synthesis of microtubules from the protein (tubulin), which is part of their composition, prevents disturbances in the vital activity of the cell from the side of microtubules. The remedy is a concentrate for the infusion (dropper) solution. The main substance: paclitaxel (6.0 mg per 1 ml of concentrate). The solution has a clear or light yellow hue.

Dosage of the remedy.

Nab-paclitaxel 100 is administered intravenously a 3-hour or 24-hour infusion at a dose of 100 mg / m2 with an interval between courses of 3 weeks.
The recommended dose of Nab-paclitaxel 100 for the treatment of Kaposi’s sarcoma in AIDS patients is 100 mg / m2 as a 3-hour infusion every 2 weeks.
The remedy is used in the form of monotherapy or in combination: in ovarian cancer and non-small cell lung cancer with Cisplatin, in breast cancer with doxorubicin.

INSTRUCTION FOR USING.

The dosage of the remedy may differ with different forms of the disease. Regardless of the disease, the remedy is administered intravenously. When primary treatment of ovarian cancer, the duration of infusions (droppers) is more than a day, then Cisplatin is introduced. Secondary therapy in this disease, as well as in the treatment of breast cancer requires intravenous administration for 3 hours, after injecting Cisplatin. The same duration is also suitable for the treatment of Kaposi’s sarcoma. The break between courses is not less than 3 weeks, the subsequent therapy is possible only after the normalization of the level of neurophilia and platelets.

INDICATIONS:

ovarian cancer (therapy in conjunction with platinum and metastases after standard therapy without a positive result)
breast cancer (basic therapy, as well as adjuvant (additional to the main) treatment)
not small cell lung cancer (therapy without surgical treatment and / or radiotherapy, with Cisplatin)
Kaposi’s sarcoma in AIDS patients (after treatment with liposomal anthracyclines that

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

the using of this remedy is prohibited for pregnant and lactating women
do not prescribe if the patient has hypersensitivity to any of the components of the remedy (in particular, to polyoxaline castor oil)
with neutropenia (a decrease in the blood of neurophiles)
children’s age (safety and efficacy not established)
liver failure
acute infectious diseases
arrhythmia (interruptions in heart contractions)
