How to achieve the best effect from your therapy?
Don’t skip any medical appointments so that your doctor can monitor your progress. You’ll have to do regular blood tests and come for regular check-ups during the therapy.
Sunitinib can change the color of your urine. However, this is harmless and nothing to worry about.
Sunitinib can reduce your blood sugar and cause hypoglycemia. Symptoms of this disease include fatigue, shivering, increased heart rate, perspiration, cold and sticky skin. You should eat or drink something sweet to increase your blood sugar. However, you must also consult your physician. If you suffer from diabetes, you should warn your doctor so that he/she can correct your treatment and do regular blood tests.
Before using any other drugs, contact your doctor to make sure that you can take them together with Sutent 12,5 mg.
Perfect oral hygiene is especially important during the treatment with Sunitinib. Brush your teeth twice a day and don’t forget to have routine dental examinations. Inform your dentists about using Sunitinib, because some dental procedures may not be suitable for you.
Keep in mind that you shouldn’t get pregnant during the treatment with Sunitinib. Use the safe contraceptives throughout the therapy.
